Waiting Impatiently
2019, the year that I will never forget.
It is the arrival of a very scary monster.
COVID-19, you were never welcomed, yet
you stayed.
Because of you I can’t see my friends in person.
I know that they are fine.
I see them on zoom and FaceTime.
“No physical school, mask on!” the government
said.”How do we continue our school?,” children
and teachers puzzled.
Everything is so new to me.
Together, we will have to fight this monster
that put us in darkness,
COVID-19, I am waiting impatiently for your departure.
