Supply Teachers

Job Description:

Toronto Waldorf School is always looking for substitute teachers to assist with covering substitution from child care to grade 12 for the 2022-2023 school year.

We are looking for people who are flexible and able to work with different age groups in a school setting.

Requirements:

  • Waldorf Teacher Education certification, or commitment to becoming Waldorf certified.
  • RECE or Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
  • Successful experience as a Teacher.
  • An understanding of child development from an anthroposophical point of view.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with an approachable manner
  • Willingness and ability to work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities:

  • Substitute as required.
  • Perform a designated number of duties, recess and administrative, in addition to teaching responsibilities as required.

Compensation
$23 to $60 per hour depending on requirements.
