The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee is a working group made up of representatives of all sectors of our community. The committee works to raise awareness within the school community around issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion and takes action towards social justice for change at TWS.
TWS values the diversity of our students, families, faculty and staff, and seeks to support the inclusion of people with diverse backgrounds. Our school does not discriminate, nor do we tolerate any discrimination, against anyone in our school community on the basis of race, class, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, religion, age, mental or physical ability. Furthermore, this also applies to TWS’ hiring, educational policies, scholarship, tuition adjustment, athletic, and other school-administered programs.
In addition to our stated commitment to diversity, we have also adopted the position statement of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA).
