The Grade 12 class is proud to present “The Government Inspector”, a classic farce by Nikolai Gogol, presented in a lively adaptation by celebrated Canadian playwright Morris Panych.
Set in a small, corrupt town, the story unfolds when the townspeople mistake an out-of-work actor for a powerful government inspector, with hilarious results! Though written nearly 200 years ago and set in Russia, the themes feel surprisingly relevant today.
